Terry is an amazing Realtor. We just bought a home and Terry helped us every step of the way. He really took the time to understand what we were looking for and was able to find exactly what we wanted at the right price. Terry truly cared and was very knowledgeable. I was very lucky to find Terry through the internet. When I filled out an interest form online, Terry called me immediately to help me get started. This was a common pattern with Terry: he would usually call me immediately after I sent him a question via text or email. I was shopping for a home in Utah while living on the East coast. Terry did lots of leg work and opened up his entire schedule when my wife and I came to Utah to look at houses. He was not in a big hurry for us buy a house that we might not be happy with or might have hidden problems. He warned us about many potential issues that I had not imagined. We ended up building a new home -- a process which took 16 months. Although I had scoured the internet myself to find builders in Utah, Terry found a builder I didn't know about that had a lot with "to die for view" beyond my wildest dreams. During the 16 month design and build process, Terry advised us in our decisions, kept an eye on the everything, and thus helped us avoid many pitfalls. He was very proactive and spend a lot of time with me on the phone and in person when we came a couple of times for design meetings and inspections. He would always jump in and be the bad guy and pester the builder to do certain things for us and be assertive on our behalf. When our closing was about to be delayed by a few days such that we would have missed our movers window and would have had to stay in a hotel for an extra 2 and 1/2 weeks, and the Builder and Title Company were out of ideas for a solution, our frustration became Terry's problem. I remember Terry standing on the sidewalk in the wind in front of the house making last-minute phone calls to convince the appraiser to accept a photograph of the finished fireplace. And I think he had to coordinate with other parties as well. The result was that we were able to close on time. We were able to move in on time which saved us a lot of frustration and money. He even worked issues for us after closing when we found things in the house that weren't quite right. All this was just the tip of the iceberg of all the things he did during the 16 months our home was being built. I have never met anybody with a better service-oriented attitude toward his customer. I have worked with six different realtors during my life. Terry is definitely the best of them all.
